Sparkling Select brings the Wagram's loess soils and vines over 40 years old into a dry Austrian sparkling wine. Grüner Veltliner, Gelber Muskateller and Rivaner form the blend, with eight months in steel giving the base wine time before the alcohol is removed through vacuum distillation and aroma recovery.
The wine is then carbonated and bottled. Fine, lively bubbles carry aromas of white stone fruit and elderflower, followed by pineapple, peach and light citrus on the palate. Its freshness has a firm, citrus-led shape, with a mineral core and a little lime in the finish. The fruit is expressive, the drinking experience dry and refreshing.
Serve it well chilled at 8°C in a Riesling, Burgundy or universal wine glass. Pour it with chilled Australian prawns, avocado and lemon, or goat's cheese, cucumber and fresh herbs. Its citrus finish and fine bubbles make these fresh, lightly dressed plates a good place to begin. Keep a bottle chilled while everyone gathers around the table.
The 2024 vintage received 91+ points from Falstaff's Ulrich Sautter in April 2026, who praised its floral expression, balance and length.

How it is made
Every wine in the cellar is made as wine first — harvested, fermented, aged. Only at the end is the alcohol removed under vacuum at low temperature, so the aromatics and structure survive the process.
What remains sits under 0.5% ABV. A trace, not a drink.
Serving
Best served well chilled, at 6–7 °C, in a Burgundy glass to lift the aromatics.
Pairs with potato crisps, smoked salmon, strawberries and grissini.
